Wattbike Sponsors Chestnut Homes Lincoln Grand Prix King of The Mountains
We are pleased to announce Wattbike will be sponsoring the King Of The Mountains awards at the 2018 Chestnut Homes Lincoln Grand Prix.
The famous Michaelgate climb has seen many famous battles in the closing laps in the events 63 year history and 2018 is set to be another epic edition with many riders fresh from the Tour De Yorkshire and aiming to continue their successes there.
Wattbike will be adding the Michaelgate climb to their app to cyclists across the Uk and Europe can test themselves against the best all year round.

Chestnut Homes Lincoln Grand Prix Fields Announced
With just 6 days to go to the 2018 Chestnut Homes Lincoln Grand Prix the fields have been confirmed.
The 3rd edition of the Womens Lincoln Grand Prix is set to be the biggest field assembled for a UK race with 137 riders on the start list which contains all of the big teams in womens racing and fielding between 6 and 8 riders in order to take control of this years race which has already established itself as one of the riders favourites.
After dominating the first 2 editions of the race Trek-Drops are back again with another strong team.
Double winner Alice Barnes is not back this year to defend her title having moved teams during the off-season. But with Emily Nelson and Rebecca Durrell now riding for Storey Racing alongside Dame Sarah Storey they will surely be a force to be reckoned with.
Local interest comes from Lincoln based Jo Tindley who starts for a strong looking NJC - Biemme - Echelon team and Isobel Darvill riding for Velo Schools - Interbike RT

The 63rd Men's Lincoln Grand Prix we are set for another epic high speed battle with defending champion Ian Bibby starting as number 1, plus 2016 winner Tom Stewart and their JLT Condor team here to try and make it a hat trick of victories.
With 4 time winner Russell Downing back again with his new team Holdsworth Pro Racing and aiming to take that record breaking 5th win, and Team Wigginsfield double World Champion Tom Pidcock who won the 2nd rounds of the Men's Spring Cup Series.
Madison Genesis and Canyon Eisberg are here in force following some great riding in the Tour de Yorkshire along with Vitus Pro Cycling and One Pro Cyclingwho started the season with a win at the 1st round of the Spring Cup will also be looking to get back on to the top step of the podium.
